COACHING FOR HIGHLY SENSITIVE AND GIFTED PEOPLE

Highly sensitive people

  • Do you have a notably good intuition, especially concerning other people and emotional topics? Do you experience situations more intense than other people do, and do you sometimes have the feeling of being different?
  • Are you exceptionally empathetic or idealistic, and do you often take things personally? Are you in pursuit of perfection and do you have difficulties in establishing emotional borders or tolerating imperfection?

If so, then you might eventually be highly sensitive, and you could benefit from a highly sensitive coach very much. 15 to 20% of all people are highly sensitive and therefore have a different recognition threshold than other people. Follow the link below to test if you are highly sensitive in just about 15 minutes:

Gifted people

  • Are you able to analyse complex logical contexts or facts exceedingly quick? Are you mentally agile and do you feel underchallenged or bored quickly?
  • Do you have exceptionally many interests, are you very curious and good at multitasking, and do you love challenges and everything that’s new? Do you have an outstanding memory, high skills in abstraction and apprehension, and do you tend to overstrain or discourage other people with your intelligent, impatient or swift features?

If so, then you might be among the 2% of people counting as gifted and having an IQ above 130. In a coaching, you have to be challenged, so you need a coach who can adjust to your pace and provide you with new stimulations.

You might be highly sensitive and gifted, too:

In most cases of high sensitivity or giftedness, childhood is shaped by early and heavy responsibilities – mostly being experienced as positive but also overstraining. As the child does not get the answers needed, he or she is forced to sense what might be good. These children shape their personalities based on the “carousel” of thinking, feeling and self-doubt, and they permanently tend to overburden themselves.
